Hello! This is my first-ever website, and my first substantial html and css project.

Thanks so much for stopping by to check it out- pardon the dust! Some of the links in my navigation bar are fake and just there for formatting, but working on the error page got me a lot of css practice so please feel free to check it out!

Status: I'm back after a little time away! Pardon all of that- I was busy with exams and holiday stuff and so on. But I'm hoping to start doing a little bit more here in the very near future!

Interests

  • Ironsworn/Solo TTRPGs
  • Video Games
  • Reading?
  • I'm not terribly sure what else I want to put here yet. Or if an "interests" list will really be relevant to what I want to do on this website.
  • What even is an interest?
  • I like a lot of things, even if I can't think of them at the moment.

To Do List

  • Create a blog template Check it out here!
  • Write first blog post Blog post achieved!
  • Figure out a code editing process:
    • Clear out old flash drive to store site backups
    • Find some html/css editor to use so I'm not just editing from my browser
  • Make some more pages so that the nav bar doesn't lead to nowhere
  • Reformat the nav bar, while I'm at it
  • Clean Up CSS
  • Fix link hover, esp. in blog section
  • Decorate
  • Make a page abt Ironsworn? I could include both info about the game and some info about my campaign...

I feel like I have an ok grasp of html so far & I think I'm in a good position to add content if I want to, but I would really like to decorate this a little bit more first.

Back when I was 18 or so I got it into my head that I could make a video game. I did not fully understand just how big of a task that was, but at the time I figured that an excellent first step would be to begin introducing myself to basic coding. I made a codeacademy account and began trying to teach myself html and css. While I was able to learn html to some degree, css just never stuck for me. Trying to learn it now might be something of a challenge. I would consider myself to be a novice, but I think that this site looks decent given my lack of experience and the fact that it is less than a day old.

I think I will keep this link here for right now as a reference as I figure out how to make my site look a little bit nicer. I am going into this with some basic html knowledge, but CSS never really "clicked" for me. It will be interesting to see how this goes! Hopefully I can make somthing of a nice-looking site.
